Bio
grace xu 徐栩 (b. 2001, New Orleans) is an artist based between Muwekma Ohlone Territory (California) ⇆ 江西 Jiangxi.

They work across lens-based media, print matter, ceramics, sound, and site-responsive improvisations to explore the world-building possibilities of collective memory, diasporic trajectories, and spi-ritual cosmologies. With a voice of emotional tenderness in response to our ever unfolding present, their practice finds power in community and in conversation with our human and more-than-human world. They hold a B.A. in Art from the University of California, Los Angeles with a Minor in Community Engagement and Social Change.
